Hi, I’m Kristin—a strength & fitness coach specializing in High Intensity Training.

I help real people get strong, lean, and finally feel like themselves again—without living in the gym or obsessing over every bite.

I live in a suburb of Grand Rapids, MI with my three teenagers and two dogs, and I’ve been coaching since 2014.

With 15,000+ sessions under my belt, I’ve worked with pro athletes, busy moms, doctors, social workers, teachers, business owners, and everyday people who are ready to stop starting over and build something that actually lasts.

I DIDN'T GROW UP THINKING I'D BE A PERSONAL TRAINER.

Like a lot of people, my relationship with food, exercise, and my body has been… complicated.

I didn’t grow up dreaming of being a personal trainer.


I just knew I wanted to feel strong.

Fast-forward 10+ years, and here I am—a strength and behavior change coach helping people:

✔️ Keep muscle, ditch diet culture

HOW I GOT HERE

Growing up, I was always moving—swim team, volleyball, softball, Tae Bo with Billy Blanks (you know the vibe).

Then life threw curveballs. I lost myself.

I did what I thought I was supposed to do:


✔️ College, marriage, kids


✔️ Every diet in the book (even the sketchy ones)


✔️ Always feeling like my body was the problem

Truth? I wasn’t just trying to fix my body—I was trying to fix my soul.


Spoiler: That doesn’t work.

ROCK BOTTOM & BREAKING CHAINS

Turns out rock bottom has a basement.


It was dark, but it’s where I started breaking the chains.

I was ending my marriage, burned out at work, and hollow inside.


In a last-ditch effort to make money from home, I joined Beachbody (we don’t talk about it)—but it reconnected me with my inner athlete.

Hiring a personal trainer flipped the switch:


✔️ I stopped training to shrink—I started training to grow
✔️ I fueled for strength instead of punishing with food
✔️ I became someone I respected

And I knew: I wanted to help other people do the same.

BECOMING A COACH

told my coach I wanted to do what he did. He said, “You’ll never pass your cert during a divorce.”


…Yeah, no.

Mid-divorce, I became a certified trainer.


I started in my basement. People thought I was nuts.


But failure wasn’t an option.

By 2016, I moved into a private gym—and I’ve been growing ever since.

I train anyone who wants to get stronger—men, women, beginners, athletes—but I have a special place in my heart for helping women break free from diet culture and self-doubt.
